How many days in advance do I need to make my vehicle moving arrangements?
For all C.O.D. orders, payment must be handled with cash, credit cards, or a cashier's check on delivery,unless discussed and handled otherwise prior to delivery.
Will my vehicle get dirty in transport? Just keep in mind that when transported on an open carrier that your vehicle may be delivered to you just as if it were driven, this is due to weather and road conditions. If it rains it will get wet, and if it is dusty it will get dirty. The biggest difference is that it will have the same mileage on it as it did before it was loaded onto the truck as it did when it was off loaded at your door. The best advise we can give, is that you have the vehicle clean before it is loaded. This way the driver and yourself can do an accurate condition report of the vehicle before and after it was transported to you. If this is a major concern, then we do offer an enclosed transport, this will seal your vehicle from these elements, just as your garage does at home. Your vehicle will be picked up on the scheduled pick-up date you have requested. Of course, we can always make special pick-up arrangements to accommodate your schedule. Just ask and we will make time for your busy schedule.
Generally, we recommend that you do not ship any personal belongings inside your vehicle. However, a few small items packed in the trunk are acceptable as long as they are non-hazardous items. We do ask that if you do pack a few things in your trunk, that you keep it to a maximum of 75 lbs. We have to consider and abide by all laws set forth by the U.S. DOT regulating the combined gross weight of the entire truck, trailer, and vehicles when loaded.
Yes we do, just be aware that an enclosed rate will be slightly more than an open hauler rate, due to the extra care that is required to load and unload inside the enclosed trailer, and the limited amount of space that will not allow us to carry multiple vehicles. This is usually the transport method for high end or collector type vehicles, but almost any vehicle can be transported enclosed. Think of this as your vehicle inside your garage going down the road.
All our trucks are all equipped with a GPS unit that will give the driver an estimated time of arrival (ETA). So, YES you can and at no extra cost to you. Just call us anytime before 8:00 PM CST, and we will contact the driver and give you an up to the minute update, and the estimated time of arrival (ETA) for your vehicle. Please remember that we can not break U.S.DOT hours of service regulations, control all aspects of traffic, etc.. that may delay your arrival time. If perhaps it will be delayed our drivers are instructed to call our dispatchers so that we can make you aware of any such delay. Our dispatchers will also attempt to contact you when the driver is one hour away from your drop location to make sure that you have enough time to make arrangements to receive your vehicle. Yes, we have a $3,000,000 policy that will cover any vehicle we tow or transport,so no need to worry, its covered and insurance coverage IS included at NO EXTRA CHARGE in the transport quote that you will receive. We try to be as competitive as we possibly can. Our rates for towing are some of the most affordable of anyone in this industry. We will not take advantage of you in an already bad or stressful situation.
